Todd Murashige is a changed man

We covered the shark attack on Todd Murashige at Crouching Lion on Oahu earlier this year. The Honolulu Advertiser published this follow-up story to those events. KAAAWA, OAHU, HAWAIIBy Duane Shimogawa The day after a shark takes a bite out of a surfer and his board, warning signs continue to caution people to stay out of the water. Those signs are posted along the water at Kahana Bay in Kaaawa. Officials say the victim, a man in his 40s, was surfing when the shark chomped down on his right leg. Oahu Shark Attack: Surfer Recovering

Amateur surfer Todd Murashige was attacked Tuesday evening off the windward side of Oahu, by what is suspected to have been a large tiger shark. The Fear Beneath staff wishes Todd all the best for a speedy recovery.
